You have a choice of two systems, the Basic system sends a signal when the alarm is triggered via a Digital Communicator along your telephone line to the monitoring station who will then contact the Police. This is known as a single path system.

In case your telephone line is cut or down then a Dual path system will still be able to alert the monitoring station using the mobile network.
